Our Association of Community EcoTourism Guides Rupalaj K’istalin was born in 2003 and is made up of 14 members of the T'Zutujil Community of San Juan la Laguna. We decided to unite to strengthen our Mayan culture and generate spaces for cultural exchange through Community Tourism.
Our main objective is to create the Relationship of the Tzutujil Community with the Visitors from a Cultural and Intercultural perspective in the development of Visits to all the exotic places that the municipality of San Juan La Laguna offers. Such as: The Majestic Xequiaqasiwaan Viewpoint, The Street of the Hats, The Walk of the Arts (pier), Association of Textile Women, Native Bees, Medicinal Plants, Artisanal Chocolate, Catholic Church, Naif Art Galleries and among other places.
